 Our debating team attended a fun day today in The Vienna Woods Hotel which was organised by the Cork Education Centre. The girls had a great day meeting other schools; some of whom they had met at previous debating competitions. They got to learn about Concern and the work this organisation does from guest speakers who also attended the fun day. Other activities included a fun global quiz, debating tennis followed by other debating activities. The girls then received a certificate for participating in the Concern Debating Festival and to acknowledge all their hard work and the time they put in to their speeches. Thank you to the Education Centre for inviting them along! |
