We had great fun last Friday at our Amber Flag Day in school.
The theme of the day was 'Express Yourself'.  Pupils  dressed in outfits that expressed themselves.
We had princesses, hurling & football stars, farmers, pussy cats, teddy bears, rock stars etc,
Belinda Murphy, past pupil and author of 'Bella the Butterfly' did a reading of her book for the younger classes.  The children thoroughly enjoyed Belinda and her positive, enthusiastic personality.  Thank you Belinda.

Shaun Hennessey did some well-being PE with the older classes in the local G.A.A. field. This was great fun and the children also loved the activities and space that the field offered. Thank you Shaun.

There was a danceathon on the front yard.
Each pupil completed an art piece and there were prize winners in each class.

All pupils also brought in €2 each for Pieta House.
Some pupils completed the 'Darkness into Light' walk for Pieta House the following morning.
We are very proud of you.

Sincere thanks to Lidl for supplying sweets and drinks for the children.
Well done Miss Murphy and the committee for organising such a wonderful day.
