Mindful Monday: 2nd of March 5 minute Mindfulness Technique colouring with meditative music playing for intercom -Juniors to 2nd 11:00- 11:20 -3rd & 4th 11:20 - 11:40 -5th & 6th 11:40- 12:00 Lios Cúram feel free to join whatever group is most suitable
| Thankful Tuesday; 3rd of March Write thankful letters to friend/teacher/familyEnd of the day- list 3 things they are thankful for to teacher as leaving classroomGratitude Journal for homework (one reduced item of homework each night) DAEB (Drop Everything & Breathe) 1.00- 1.10, includes music from intercom 4th class do a play of their choice for Junior Infants and (discuss between teachers)
| Wellness Wednesday; 4th of March- Non-uniform Day for Pieta House Onesie day( children make a donation of 2 euro as part of Pieta house collection) children can wear a onesie/ pyjamas or bring slippers in their bags to wear inside Therapeutic W/Shop Whole School incl. Sensory play;
9:00 -10:00 Halla Juniors Seniors 1st & 2nd/ 3rd & 4th/ 5th & 6th Pizza Massage etc.

Secret friend each class pick their secret friend from a container & for the week-do random acts of kindness towards this friend-compliments, positive notes etc. Staff will be doing the same!“Kindness is the language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see” Mark Twain
Gratitude Journal will be running for the week every night children will draw/ write something they are grateful for & homework will be reduced be active eg go for a walk, go on the trampoline, spend time together! Thank you for your support! |
