Our theme this week is ‘Light it up Blue’ for Autism and Easter.  We joined in in the blue workshops in the main hall with the other classes. We painted our blue hand prints onto big sheets. One of our boys insisted on green hand prints! We made a blue tower in the building area. We helped to make blue cookies. Yummy! I think!.

We all attended the walk a mile with a smile for Autism and on Friday we had a blue disco for everyone. One of our boys  rocked at ‘ rock the boat’. It was a great week, full of fun and variety.

During cookery class we made Easter eggs using moulds and chocolate. These were a huge success and the boys were amazed at their perfect creations.

Easter is fast approaching and the boys did great work in their Easter Workbooks in class. We learned about Jesus going to Heaven and we visited the church. In art the boys each made beautiful Easter theme creations. Check out the Art Corner.

Our outing this month was to Grenagh Farm and we had a mega day.

The picture parade below tells the events of the day the best.

Happy Easter everyone!
