Swimming

We are very fortunate to be able to take each one of our autism classes to the hydrotherapy pool at St. Joseph's foundation in Charleville each week.

The children in the classes gain lots of skills during this time. We are very grateful to the foundation for allowing us to visit the pool each week. They provide a safe and sensory friendly space for our children at the pool.

Horse riding

Through St. Joseph's foundation, we are also fortunate enough to take the children in the junior, middle and senior autism classes to the equine therapy centre in county Limerick, Liskennett.

This magical setting allows our children to gain all the benefits of equine therapy in a safe and friendly environment.

Reflexology

At various times throughout the school year, we also have a wonderful reflexologist who comes to the school to facilitate reflexology sessions for any child that wishes to participate. It is a wonderful, sensory therapy that the children enjoy and gain a lot from.
