Healthy Eating

This is a picture of our Healthy Eating Committee, however there are a few missing from the picture.  Dylan, Walter, Tiernan, Oisin, Kellie and Daniel are the representatives from our Lios Cúram classes.  Ruby and Odhran  are from Junior Infants while Branna and Niamh are the Senior Infants members.  Autumn and Seán  represent First Class while Elayna and Jack are the Second Class representatives.  Aodhan and Sophia are from Third Class while Alana and Amy are from Fourth Class. Finally, Diarmuid and Dan are the 5th class representatives and Faye and Clodagh are from 6th class.  

Our Healthy Eating Committee will begin the Incredible Edibles Programme in February.  This is a healthy eating project for primary schools to educate students about growing fruit and vegetables and to increase their knowledge of food origin and quality.  We are currently awaiting a delivery of different seeds which we will then plant.  This programme is run by Agri Aware.
