Summer programme Farm visit
We were lucky enough to be invited to visit a local farm this June, where we met some goats, pigs, sheep, chickens, ducks, guinea pigs and rabbits! We had a wonderful day out.

STEM at Liscarroll NS
STEM is an acronym used for the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics. 3rd-6th class engaged in hands-on STEM activities weekly during the last term. Check out more STEM photos here
Teddy Bear's Picnic
All of the children got to enjoy a teddy bear's picnic on the last day of Healthy Eating Week.

As Principal of Liscarroll NS, I welcome you to our school website. We hope it gives you an insight into the life of our school. Liscarroll NS is a rural co-educational with 4 ASD classes . It is a welcoming, happy school, where we all work together for the benefit of the pupils who attend here. The well being and academic progress of every pupil is a priority.
As a staff, we strive to develop an open, positive relationship with both pupils and parents . We value and look after the needs of every child and aim to ensure that all of our pupils enjoy their time here. We recognise that learning is a lifelong process, and believe that the foundation we lay with children today, will help them to develop their talents to their full potential and to grow into confident caring members of the community . Mutual respect for each other and regard for each other’s viewpoints within our school community permeates the wide range of activities that are carried out within the school. We believe that a child learns best through participation and active learning in a supportive environment. This involves partnership with the parents of our school.

Our school has a strong and consistent focus on the wellbeing of all pupils. The social and emotional needs of all pupils is a priority in Liscarroll NS : happy children, happy school.
Our school adopts various strategies and initiatives to support wellbeing including: the Amber Flag, a robust SPHE plan, student council and social groups.
