Welcome to Liscarroll N.S.
As Principal of Liscarroll NS, I welcome you to our school website. We hope it gives you an insight into the life of our school. Liscarroll NS is a rural co-educational with 4 ASD classes . It is a welcoming, happy school, where we all work together for the benefit of the pupils who attend here. The well being and academic progress of every pupil is a priority.
As a staff, we strive to develop an open, positive relationship with both pupils and parents . We value and look after the needs of every child and aim to ensure that all of our pupils enjoy their time here. We recognise that learning is a lifelong process, and believe that the foundation we lay with children today, will help them to develop their talents to their full potential and to grow into confident caring members of the community . Mutual respect for each other and regard for each other’s viewpoints within our school community permeates the wide range of activities that are carried out within the school. We believe that a child learns best through participation and active learning in a supportive environment. This involves partnership with the parents of our school.
Through this website we hope to give you an insight into all of the events occurring during and after school in Liscarroll NS. It showcases the talents and achievements of our wonderful pupils. In addition, our website outlines our school’s policies, practices and procedures while also informing you about new developments in our school.

Amber Flag Week 2023

Open Night 2023
Liscarroll N.S. was a hive of activity when it held an open night for the school on the 23rd February 2023. The Third and Fourth class ukulele group provided excellent entertainment followed by guided tours of the school given by the Fifth and Sixth class students. It was great to see all the Moms, Dads, Aunts, Uncles, Nanas and Grandads being shown around by our fabulous guides. We were particularly excited to meet all the Junior Infants starting next year. Special word of thanks to Michael Johnson for taking such lovely photos.
